Jostens Presentation

1pm, Afternoon MATC students may pick up a packet from Mrs. Stroud or Mrs. Harp. A packet is not required--orders can be placed at Jostens.com

October 27

Senior Pictures

Pictures are used for yearbook and senior panel. MATC students are not excused from the Tech Center. OSP will still be set up for morning MATC students when they return to campus.

December 1 

Picture Retakes

If students miss both these dates , an appointment can be made at OK School Pics

*Do not send money, Senior pictures will be purchased online via an email when they are ready.

December 31 

Ok Promise Application Due

Oklahoma's Promise can provide a college or technology center tuition scholarship for students who meet income, academic, and conduct requirements.

Parents must complete the application. If the parent has not completed it, the application is not complete.

District Walk-Through

Report to the field house by 8:40AM. Walk-through begins at 9:00 AM.

Senior Funday

Be at the high school at 10:00 AM to load buses.

Graduation Rehearsal — REQUIRED

Seniors may drive. Please be careful; this privilege may be revoked at any time. Bus leaves LAHS at 9:15 AM.

May 21 • 6:30 PM

Graduation Ceremony

FireLake Arena • 18145 Old Rangeline Rd., Shawnee, OK 74801. Students arrive at 5:30 PM for a group photo. Doors open to families/friends at 6:00 PM.

🎓 Cap & Gown Pick-Up

Only cap/gown orders will be shipped to the school. All other items will be shipped to the home. Late April into May, Mrs. Harp will conduct an individual “Senior Check-out” to give the students their cap/gown order. 

  • Once all requirements are completed, the student will receive their cap and gown.

  • If a student has not completed a requirement, they will receive the documents/information needed to complete it.

  • If a Cap/Gown need to be borrowed for senior pictures, see Ms. Edmondson in the counselor office.

🎓 Graduation Requirements

Before receiving a cap and gown, seniors will complete a quick graduation check with Mrs. Harp. Students must meet all OK SDE and LAPS graduation requirements.

  • 9th–12th grade ICAP completed — students have an account at Okcollegestart.org.

  • CPR completed.

  • U.S. Citizenship Test passed with a score of 60% or higher. Students may retake it as many times as needed.

  • FAFSA completed OR the FAFSA OPT-OUT form completed. Students may sign the OPT-OUT form if they are 18 or older.

  • ACT & CCRA U.S. History and Science exam requirements completed during the school testing window.

  • 24 total credits, including all required courses.

đź‘— Graduation Dress Code

The goal is a clean, professional appearance—not flashy, not trashy. Please plan ahead.

MEN

WOMEN

• Dress pants or new, CLEAN jeans
• Dress shoes or NICE, CLEAN boots
• WHITE button-up dress shirt with a collar
• BLACK tie or bow tie

• If anything shows above the gown, it should be WHITE.
• Dress shoes only—NO open-toed shoes.
• If wearing high heels, make sure you are comfortable walking across the stage safely.

Need help with graduation clothing? If your family cannot afford the dress code, please see Mrs. Stroud or Mrs. Harp. We may have items available to borrow and other resources to help.

đźš« If You Do Not Plan to Walk at Graduation

Students who choose not to participate in the graduation ceremony must notify Mrs. Harp by May 1.

đź“„ Final Transcripts & Diplomas

  • Final graduation documents—2 official paper transcripts and 1 diploma—will be ready for pickup around the first or second week of June.

  • Only students may pick up diplomas.

  • All class dues, fees, club items, books, laptops, and other school property must be returned and/or paid before documents are released.

  • Requests made after June 30, 2026 will have a $10 fee.

  • After mid-June, staff will be on summer hours.
