At this time, all of our schools are on lockdown at the advice of Cleveland County Sheriff's office. There is no threat to the school and this is just as a precaution while they conduct a search for a suspect in the area. Until we are out of our lockdown, no one will be able to enter or exit our buildings. Please do not call our offices as we await word from the Sheriff.

Little Axe Parents and Guardians, Little Axe Public School had a water main break Saturday (August 13th) afternoon. The maintenance crew has worked all night long to get it repaired and are currently searching for parts to complete the repair. Due to the large size of the water main (10"), parts may be difficult to find during the day today. We assure you that we are doing everything in our power to complete the repair. If it becomes necessary to postpone the start of school and close Monday, August 15, we will let you know as soon as possible. We are hoping that parts can be found and the repair will be complete. We apologize for any inconvenience and are excited for school to begin. -- Jay Thomas, Ed.
