Summer school starts tomorrow! Classes will be from 8:30 am-12:30 pm Monday-Thursday (June 14-17, 21-24 and July 6-8, 12-15). Breakfast and lunches will be served before and after school. Little Axe child nutrition will hand out meals tomorrow, June 1, 2021, for all children 18 and under from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in front of the elementary school.

In the event of tornado weather the high school safe room will be open this evening. To enter, come to the high school gym and follow directions from school staff. No pets will be allowed to enter the safe room.

This afternoon Little Axe Middle School was made aware of and confiscated a BB gun that had inadvertently been left in a student’s backpack and brought to school. At no time were any students, or staff, in any danger or threatened. As a precaution, the proper authorities were notified and the situation is under control.

The City of Norman has lifted the citywide mask mandate, effective immediately. Additionally, the state notification system is showing our area in yellow. Due to this information, the wearing of masks as part of our district policy will now be optional for the final two days of our school year.

Through the web app, families will find a grade-level checklist and other helpful resources to assist families as they navigate through each year of high school. Exciting News!!! Please Mark your Calendar!! The date for pick up meals for virtual students and children under the age of 18 has changed. Starting Monday March 29th, meal pick-ups will be on Monday's for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. You can come and pick up your meals from 10 am to11:30 am in drive-through style. To receive meals, please enter the bus lane on the north end of the elementary, drive in front of the elementary school, and someone will serve you 7 days worth of meals. Please stay in your vehicle.
