The Sooner Discovery program is a unique and fulfilling experience, and it is intended for high achieving high school sophomores and juniors who are motivated by challenging experiences.
In this program your students will live on campus in the Honors College residence hall for four weeks from June 10, 2018, to July 6, 2018, earn five college credit hours, experience life at OU, and see what it is like to be a Sooner for the summer!
The five credit hours include one general education course and a Sooner Discovery specific course, Introduction to the Academic Discovery, which helps guide students through the college application and admissions process, and establishes skills for success in college.
Outside of class, the Sooner Discovery staff plans fun events to give your students a study break! Weeknight programming on campus and Saturday trips to Oklahoma City and Tulsa showcase the best that OU and Oklahoma have to offer outside of the classroom.
