Little Axe Middle School

A quick reminder about the Fine Arts Night for the middle and high school Art, Band, and Choir this Thursday (Dec 12) from 4:30-8:00 PM. Come for art, music, sweets, and food trucks! Come support the students and have a great time!

Just a reminder that tomorrow, December 6th, is a remote learning day. Please be sure your children complete their work. You can check with your child's teacher(s) and/or Google Classroom. The last day of the semester before the break is December 19th and students will return on January 7th.

Parents and Guardians, We are having some issues with students forgetting to bring their laptops and chargers to school. We kindly ask for your support in reminding your child to bring their laptop and charger to school each day, to ensure they are prepared for all lessons and assignments. Thank you for your support.

8th grade parents/guardians: Tomorrow, November 6th, is the last day to register your 8th grade student(s) to take the 8/9 Pre-ACT. All water issues have been resolved and school will return to normal tomorrow, Oct 29th.

Due to a lack of water at the school, Little Axe Public Schools will transition to remote learning today, Monday, October 28th. An update will be sent later today.

The Wengage/Sylogist website and app for students, parent, and employees will be unavailable due to moving to a new provider and updates from Today (Friday, Oct. 25) at 3PM to Monday (Oct. 28) at 6AM. As of Monday, the new website URL will be https://oked.sylogist.com/LittleAxe

8th grade parents/guardians: We are offering the 8/9 Pre-ACT to 8th grade students who wish to participate. Students are not required to take the Pre-ACT, but are encouraged to do so if they have an interest in pursuing post-secondary educational opportunities.

Due to some unforeseen issues, we will be switching tomorrow's breakfast. Instead of Breakfast Burrito we will be serving Pancakes on a stick, we will be serving Breakfast Burrito next week on Tuesday. We appreciate your understanding.
